At the end of the plugin the text object for the list will be selected and brought into view. If you want to have the first bar at 6/8 and you want the second at 4/4 click on the bar line at the beginning of the bar that you want the change at and select the 'Notation' tab followed by the drop down 'Time Signature' menu. Go to Home > Instruments > Change Select your new instrument from the Instrument Change dialog, and click OK You will find that Sibelius not only automatically changes the name of your instrument, but it also changes its transposition, and even its sound, if, say, you’re using this feature to double a sax part in a clarinet part. Now Sibelius will do this automatically for you: simply put an instrument change anywhere in the music, and Sibelius 5 will change the instrument from that point onwards altering its name, clef, sound, even the transposition and staff type if necessary. The destination and the hide state radio buttons are now independent. Or sometimes you need to rewrite a whole part for a different instrument.

The text styles, though listed in English, will now work correctly in other languages. Can now write to either the title page or to any blank pages that immediately follow it (there is a list box of available blank pages). Added options to trace lists and to Not show dialog for this session, which makes it easier to use with Run Plugin on Score and Parts.
#Jhow to add instruments in sibelius 8 plus
New option to omit empty staves, plus dialog was rearranged to make it clearer that list can go either to the title page or the score but not both. Under Sib 6, it can now insert the instrument list onto a Sib 6-style title page. Now places the text at the start of the selection if any, fixes a bug with the title text, adds Instrument changes for Sib 5+, and allows you to specify if the list will appear in the score or in a part. You can choose which elements will appear in the list, and the order in which they will appear. This plug-in adds a list of the instruments at the start of the selected staves as a text item at the start of the score. For use with Sibelius 4, Sibelius 4.1, Sibelius 5, Sibelius 6, Sibelius 7.1, Sibelius 7.5, Sibelius 8.x, Sibelius 18.x, Sibelius 19.x, Sibelius 20.x and Sibelius 21.x
